Do you guys know that burping is one of the most important things that provides relief to me... It comes naturally to grown ups, but i need lots of help to burp. I guess Uncle Lee would like to call me "Burpster" given the amount of time spent on trying to get me to burp...
I just found out that my dad is going around displaying his knowledge of infants and takes pride in the matter. Apparently he killed the joy of one of his colleagues who thought that the special things his little one did , connected his habits to baby's habits and were hereditary. Case in point being sudden movement of arms/legs. In most babies, the chin quivers and legs and arms seem shaky. It just means that more electric impulses are being sent to the muscle by the brain!!!!
I also went for my first visit to the pediatrician. It was fun watching my folks asking, from a long list of questions... sometimes he sleeps for an hour, sometimes 5 hours, is that ok? sometimes he spits up lots of milk, is that normal?
The best was when the doc said, if he cries a lot, take him for a drive!!! Nothing scientific, but it does work...
Well, lets go for a spin!!!
